So, was she trying to say she was so dearie and unforgettable as a housewife that they had to come "black, blue and used " again? Yes. Her divorced husbands have been thrown out before like used kitchen pots to try their luck with other women but as they later discover, nothing beats a capable housewife who knows how to manage her home. So they came back to find her still in the sitting room, still housewifing, still capable and better than other women.
